West Dunbartonshire has recently introduced the Junior Road Safety Officer scheme into our local schools. Head Teachers had the hard task of choosing two pupils from numerous applications to fill the post for one year. Their task is to raise awareness within the school of Road Safety. The Road Safety team organised in-service training for Junior Road Safety Officers and their adult helpers.
