The Council is responsible for maintaining all publicly adopted roads and footways within the West Dunbartonshire area, except for trunk roads. A Roads Rapid Response Unit has been set up in order to deal with roads defects which may pose an immediate danger to road and footway users on our adopted road network.
The Council also operate a Cleansing Rapid Response Unit which will respond to complaints regarding street cleaning issues such as dog mess, graffiti, litter and fly-tipping.
