The West Dunbartonshire Joint Future Partnership is pleased to present its first draft Local Partnership Acquired Brain Injury Strategy 2006 - 2009. This Strategy welcomes the views of all interested parties about the content and layout of the plan, as part of our continuing consultation and participation process. This strategy is embedded in the principles of Our Joint Health Improvement Plan 2004-2008.
An Acquired Brain Injury Strategy Group, comprising representatives from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, West Dunbartonshire Council, the voluntary sector and the local users organisations - drew up the draft strategy, which sets out an agenda for the development of services for people with acquired brain injury. The group set the key priorities and objectives for partnership planning to develop services for people with an acquired brain injury.
The consultation period for the plan has been set for four months starting 3rd October 2006. Should you wish to express your views about the plan the partnership would be happy to recieve your comments by 3rd February 2007.
