Sibling Support

The CWDT support siblings who are growing up with a brother or sister with a disability.  There are over half a million young siblings in the UK. Siblings have specific needs that require attention at different stages of their lives, including relief of isolation, information, and strategies for coping with the situations they find themselves in. Our aim is to enhance the lives of siblings by providing them with information and support.  This sibling support group meets on a fortnightly basis in the Napier Hall, Old Kilpatrick looking at issues that siblings face through a range of games, arts & crafts and discussions.

If you would like to come along contact Sarah Louise.

Able2Sail

Able2Sail is an organisation that believes all individuals should have the opportunity to sail a modern cruising yacht.  They seek to provide voyages for individuals who are able-bodied or have physical disabilities.  They provide free sailing and have allocated the CWDT a number of sails throughout the year.  If you would like to take part contact Sarah Louise.
