Metaphrog at Alexandria and Duntocher Libraries

Metaphrog came along to our teen festival, ‘Booxfactor’, at the end of last year and we loved them so much we just had to bring them back for ‘Booked!’.
Primary 7’s from St Mary’s (Alexandria) and Goldenhill enjoyed listening to John and Sandra describe how they go about creating comics and graphic novels. This was enhanced by their use of a multi-media presentation and involving the children in drawing their own comic-book characters.
Everyone in Alexandria and Duntocher Library had a great time, including Terry Lanagan, Director of Education, who came along to see the session and was greatly impressed by the standard of the children’s drawings.
