From February 2006 there will be new sessions out with the school holiday periods. The emphasis of the new four weekly block of session will be to develop the skills of the children in indoor athletics, trampolining and arts and crafts. Skills can include teamwork, balance and co-ordination, mixing with other children, physical exercise, competition and learning to take instructions from people other than their parents.
The tasks given to the child will be appropriate to their ability. Each child will receive a programme card where his or her improvements can be recorded. The four weekly block will end on a fun session in week four. Fun sessions will still continue during Easter, summer and October week.
