Napier Hall

Napier hall is located on the main road in the village of Old Kilpatrick, between Clydebank and Dumbarton. There is a bus stop adjacent to the hall and a train station located less than half a mile away. There is also a small car park around 20 metres from the hall that has around 10 parking bays.

 

The hall is all at ground level with wheelchair access throughout. There is a permanent stage, which is at a higher level. Function rooms in the hall include the main hall with a maximum capacity of 160, a smaller hall with a capacity of 80 a meeting room available with a capacity of 10. The hall is also equipped with two male and female toilets, one of each with an adjoining cloakroom. There is a separate toilet equipped for use by disabled customers. Napier hall also has a kitchen, which can be used by customers.

Equipment in the hall includes a p.a. system, a bouncy castle, pool table, table tennis table, a piano and enough tables and chairs for the maximum capacity of the building. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hobs and an urn.

 

Users of the hall include senior citizen groups such as the carpet bowlers, children’s groups such as the arts class, male groups, such as the lodge meetings, and predominately female groups, such as the Hip Hop dance class. The majority of the groups are non-profitable organisations, such as the summer play scheme.

 

Profit-making organisations such as slimming classes also use the hall on a regular basis. Most of these bookings are regular weekly bookings, which take place in the evenings. An exception to this is occasional bookings such as dance and birthday party bookings, which are held at the weekends.

*9.00am – 9.30pm Mon - Friday.

*The hall is also open evenings and weekends in accordance with bookings.
