Improving the Council's capability to manage risk is important in the delivery of high quality services and the development of policies.
Over the last year we have been developing a programme of improvement in risk management across the Council and are currently in the process of embedding risk management throughout the authority.
We have recognised that Partnership Working is a key area where associated risk needs to be identified and controlled. To mitigate the risks associated with partnership working we have developed a guidance note on partnership working and a generic partnership risk register for use in all Council partnerships.
