To develop the formal framework, which will assist the council to manage the risks that prevent the Authority achieving its strategic aims in the delivery of services to the community.
This framework will ensure that Risk Management roles and responsibilities are established, methodology for calculating risk is available, appropriate risk management training has been provided and that consideration of hazards and risk is embedded into policy approval (strategic) and service delivery (operational).
