Freedom of Information - 1 January 2005

From 1 January 2005, people have a legal right to access information held by Scottish public authorities.

Kevin Dunion is the Scottish Information Commissioner, a post created to oversee the operation of Freedom of Information (FoI) in practice and to provide a route for appeals.
