Homelessness Strategy 2008-2013
West Dunbartonshire’s new Homelessness Strategy (2008-2013) was produced in conjunction with over 112 partner agencies and crucially with individuals that have experienced homelessness. The Strategy has the vision to ‘end homelessness in West Dunbartonshire’ and hopes to achieve this through the following Strategic aims agreed and identified within the new strategy:
- Prevention
- Increasing Choice
- Sustainable Soluttions
- Commitment
The new strategy recieved approval from the Housing, Environment and Economic Development Committee on 6th August 2008 and was launched at West Dunbartonshire’s Homelessness Conference on 26th November 2008.

Homelessness Forum
The Homelessness Strategy is implemented and monitored by the multi agency Homelessness Forum. The Homelessness Forum has three working groups that concentrate on specific priority areas which were highlighted during the development of the Strategy :-
