If you are self-employed (working for yourself) you can claim Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit, visit the how to claim page for further information.
You will need to produce your latest profit and loss accounts.
We will accept the following:
- Your most recent audited income and expenditure accounts
- Your last six months income and expenditure books with receipts and invoices
If you don't have this information, ask for a self-employed income form to fill in or download the
Self-employed earnings form (58Kb .pdf document). You will need to print the form, complete it and post it back to us.
