The core work activities involve grass cutting tree pruning and planting, flower and shrub bed maintenance, play equipment maintenance, weed killing and spraying, outdoor recreation, and street cleaning services. Other major activities include providing horticultural and arboriculture advice to the members of the public and support to local community groups. The Grounds Maintenance Section manages a wide range of operations for a number of customers.
