Hockey Development - "Push for Participation"

The Hockey development service aims to:

• Increase participation across the whole spectrum of hockey.

• Improve the provision and quality of coaching within West Dunbartonshire.

• Provide pathways, in association with the Scottish Hockey Union, for hockey participants of all ages and abilities to reach their potential.

• Ensure there is access to appropriate levels of competition for all.

• Increase the number and quality of coaches available in West Dunbartonshire.

• Recruit participants from all sectors of the community as hockey players, coaches and officials.

• Provide support and opportunities for talented players, coaches and officials to realise their fullest potential.

• Encourage participation in hockey by introducing and delivering coaching sessions throughout West Dunbartonshire primary schools.
