Find out more about Partial Stock Transfer at drop-in sessions

Friday 25th June 2010

As part of West Dunbartonshire Council’s commitment to open and effective communication, and to engaging with tenants at all stages in the proposed partial stock transfer process, a series of public drop-in sessions have been arranged during the month of July.

The dates were arranged in response to requests from tenants to hold some public events to provide updates and information on the partial stock transfer process.

  • Tuesday, 6 July 2010 - Vale of Leven Swimming Pool, Main St, Alexandria
  • Thursday, 8 July 2010 - Concord Community Centre, Town Centre, Dumbarton
  • Monday, 12 July 2010 - Clydebank Playdrome, 2 Abbotsford Road, Clydebank

All sessions will run between 2pm and 7pm.

During the sessions, Council staff will make a presentation to tenants on the purpose behind the Council’s decisions regarding the partial stock transfer. They will outline the initial stock transfer packages and explain what this means for tenants.  This will give tenants the opportunity to provide feedback on any aspect of the transfer process.

Fin McElhinney, Stock Transfer Manager at the Council, said: “I hope that individual tenants will take the opportunity to come along to one of the sessions and have a chat with the Stock Transfer project team on any issue regarding the stock transfer. I am really looking forward to the chance to talk to tenants directly about the challenges and the exciting opportunities facing the project team in the coming months.”
