With Election Day fast approaching, West Dunbartonshire’s Returning Officer for next Thursday’s UK General Elections is urging voters not to miss their chance to have their say at the ballot box.
Ballots can be cast in person or by post – but if you have a postal vote, make sure you don’t post it too late for your vote to be counted.
West Dunbartonshire Council Chief Executive and Returning Officer David McMillan said: “The UK Parliament represents everyone in the country and has powers that affect every single one of us. Politics influences so many aspects of our lives, from jobs and healthcare to the environment and crime. It is vital that everyone who is eligible makes use of their democratic right, and uses their vote.”
