In February 2009, residents of the Milton Village community took part in a consultation exercise. The objective of the consultation exercise was to collect information with respect to the need for a community facility within Milton Village.
The consultation was in the form of a short questionnaire delivered to all households within Milton village.
Of the 278 questionnaires delivered, 75 were returned which represented a response rate of 27%.
Key findings/Recommendations
The findings from this consultation exercise confirmed that residents were in favour of some type of community facility. As a response to these findings, the department will meet with Councillors and the community to discuss the project.
