Volunteers and partner organisations got together in January to launch West Dunbartonshire’s FIRST Joint Voluntary Policy.
The Joint Voluntary Policy demonstrates how West Dunbartonshire community planning partners’ recognise and value the importance of volunteering and voluntary group activity in the area. And the partnership approach to working with the voluntary sector will help to co-ordinate activity and strengthen good working practices. Two sets of guidance have been developed to support partner organisations to work effectively with volunteers and voluntary groups.
