The Council, in partnership with Clydebank re-built, is to commission a detailed report to consider the creation of a Civic Quarter in Clydebank. This area will include the Town Hall, Library and Baths. The creation of a Civic Quarter will provide a focus for the cultural development of Clydebank and integrate a group of historically significant buildings into the redevelopment area of the Clydebank's waterfront. The Civic Quarter development is considered to be the key link between the traditional retail centre of Clydebank and the new waterfront development.
