Denny Exhibition

A new exhibition was launched on 9th April, 2009 at the Scottish Maritime Museum in Dumbarton. This latest event commemorates

the work of local shipbuilders William Denny and Brothers. On display will be a yard journal donated by Glasgow University and the Denny Jubilee Book which dates back to 1896.

The Denny Brothers were renowned for completing the famous tea clipper the Cutty Sark and as inventors of the Denny helicopter, Denny hovercraft and Denny-Brown stabilisers.
