Fancy headdress group
Fancy headdress workshop - some tall, some small and all truly inspirational!
Clydebank Museum had a wide range of exciting events on last Summer for young people. Our exhibition SHIP SHAPE brought a nautical theme to the museum.

Families enjoyed getting busy being creative from flying the Jolly Roger to creating costumes for our Ship’s Ball’, the special end of holiday celebration.

Clydebank Museum also hosted Children’s Art Day during the Summer. Children created some fancy headdresses which you can see below

Here are some photos of the finished results!

And here's what people thought of Clydebank Museum’s Holiday Programme :

'I really loved what we were doing today. I am proud of myself'.

'We made funky flags, I made a jolly one.' Eva Montgomery

‘Caleigh and Bethany had fun together and made new friends.’

Jade saw different things to do with shipbuilding eg old boots, an old bell and basket for the nails.’

‘My daughters both enjoyed making boats out of different materials. They have enjoyed learning about different things.’

‘I thought the whole concept of the ships ball was inspired.    The children loved it and making their outfits was really exciting.’

‘I love the games, do it next year please!!! ‘- Emily
